Learn how to change the color scheme of the app's tabs bar: background color and icons.


The app's tabs bar appears at the bottom of the screen. It contains icons for readers to open various reading tools, like notes or search.


Kotobee enables you to change the bar's color scheme: background and text colors. You may for any color enter the hex-code in a text box or follow the instructions below to visually select a color and shade.

  1. Click on the Manage tab.
  2. Select your library from the drop-down list in the top bar.

  3. Click on Libraries in the left panel.
    Select your library from the drop-down list in the top bar.

  4. Select Customize from the Libraries menu in the left panel.

  5. Click on the Design tab to reveal the design features.

  6. Scroll down to the Advanced color options and click on the button to reveal the options available. Locate the relevant 

    options:

    • Tabs bar background color
    • Tabs bar text color
  7. Click on the color swatch next to the hex-code. If you have the hex-code, you may simply enter it here.
  8. Select a color from the sidebar.
  9. Select a shade from the main square. 
  10. Close all customization tabs. 
  11. Click Save changes.


Any time you would like to reset to the initial colors set by Kotobee Author, simply click on Reset to default colors.
