Kotobee v1.5.10 is here!
With this new release, you may now receive instant notifications for events happening inside your library or cloud ebook. That, beside many other useful features. Note you may see the Release Notes for any of the older releases of Kotobee anytime.
Let's take a look at what's new in this release.
Kotobee now supports 3 different kinds of notifications: system notifications, push notifications, and email notifications. You will be able to instantly monitor events occurring inside your ebook. These events may be triggered either by your team members (e.g. a member who has uploaded a new book to your library) or by the reader himself (e.g. logging into a cloud ebook).
You have fine control over which types of notifications you'd like to receive through your library or cloud ebook's notifications settings page.
You can find more information from the following help articles:
Rich-Text in Notes
Your users will now be able to insert more complex notes, with the help of HTML. A new customization option "Rich-text in notes" will enable a rich-text editor toolbar to appear when users are entering or editing notes.
Chapter-Specific Access Enhancements
Chapter-specific access was one of last release's features. Enhancements have been made, such that a Restricted label will appear next to chapters that users are not authorized to access.
Chapter-specific access has now been extended to cloud ebooks, LTI courses, and user roles.
Video and Audio Included in Media Tab
The Media tab lists all the existing images in your ebook. You now have a new display option that will enable listing videos and audio files as well.
Needn't I say, this release contained a lot of cleanup and bug-fixing.
With notifications in Kotobee v1.5.10, we believe things will feel completely different from now on, managing your cloud ebooks and libraries. It's a game-changer, and the improvements are just starting!
