Kotobee Author allows you to export desktop Mac apps, in the form of app bundles (.app file format). Those are basically folders but named with the .app suffix. Kotobee Author will handle the naming and folder structure automatically - there is nothing extra required from you. Except the following.

In order for a .app bundle to run properly on a Mac, all the files and folders contained within must have a file/directory permission of 0755. If you are publishing from Kotobee Author on a Mac, this will be handled for you. However, if you are using a Windows machine, it will not work. The file/directory permissions need to be set first from a Mac machine first. This can be done from a Mac using the following simple command, from the terminal:

chmod -R 0755 path/to/bundle.app
