Learn how to make a chapter not appear in the Table of Contents nor in the navigation of your ebook. The only way your reader can reach an invisible chapter is through a link you place elsewhere in your ebook.
Common uses: solutions for sample questions, adventure game books (where the reader jumps from chapter to chapter).
How to Make a Chapter Invisible
- Click on Chapter properties.
The Chapter Properties window will appear.
- Check the box Invisible.
- Press OK and you'll be done.
As you work, invisible chapters will appear with a strike through the title in the chapter menu panel on the left part of the editor.
