Learn how to terminate a promo code for a Library.

Kotobee Author provides you with two ways to terminate a promo code:

  • Temporary. The promo code remains listed as deactivated. You can reactivate the promo code at any time.
  • Permanent. The promo code and all its records are deleted. Deleting cannot be reversed.


These instructions will guide you through terminating a promo code for both methods.


  1. Click on the Manage tab.
    The Manage screen will open.
  2. Click on Libraries in the left panel.
  3. Select your library from the drop-down menu in the top bar.
  4. Select Promo Codes from the Libraries menu in the left panel.
  5. Locate the promo code in the main panel.
  6. Below the promo code entry, click the method you prefer.
    • Deactivate disables the promo code. The promo code will remain listed for you to re-activate at any time.
      A confirmation window will appear for you in Kotobee Author: "Code deactivated."
    • Delete removes all records of the promo code.
      A confirmation window will appear: "Are you sure you want to delete this code?" Click Yes.
      Another confirmation window will appear. "Code deleted successfully."
