Learn how to delete multiple categories at once. The categories must be empty before you can delete them.

  1. Click on the Manage tab.
    The Manage screen will open.
  2. Click on Libraries in the left panel.
  3. Select your library from the drop-down menu in the top bar.
  4. Select Categories from the Libraries menu in the left panel.
    A list of all your categories will appear in the main window.
  5. Check the Categories you want to delete.
  6. From the Bulk actions drop-down menu, select Delete.
    A confirmation window will appear, saying "Are you sure you want to delete this category?" Click Yes.
    If you have any ebooks in the category, you will receive a reminder to move or delete any ebooks in the category before you delete the category. Click Ok. Proceed to emptying the category. Once you're done emptying the category you may delete the category. 

The categories will be deleted and will be instantly removed from the list of categories.
