Learn how to add Moyasar as a payment method for your cloud ebook.
What is Moyasar?
Moyasar is an online payment gateway based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It provides a comprehensive set of payment solutions to easily accept and track transactions between businesses and merchants. It offers various products to support merchants that are supported by different payment methods such as Mada, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Apple Pay, and STCPay.
Create a Moyasar Account
In order to start using Moyasar’s services, you’ll need to have an active account. Follow these steps to create your Moyasar account and integrate it with Kotobee:
First, visit Moyasar’s registration page at https://dashboard.moyasar.com/register/new.
In the Website field, enter your library URL from Kotobee which is in the format https://yourlibraryAlias.kotobee.com.
Note: If your books are on the shared library then you should add the following URL https://shared.kotobee.com.
After registering, log in to your Moyasar account. Go to "Settings" > "Account Information" > "Activation Status." If your account is not activated, click on "Activate your account" and fill in the activation form.
Obtaining Your API Key
To collect payments using Moyasar, you need both a Publishable Key and a Secret Key. To get these keys, follow the steps below
1. Log in to your Moyasar account where you will be directed to your dashboard.
2. Click on Settings -> API Keys tab from the navigation bar as shown below.
3. Copy the Publishable Key and the Secret Key.
Add the API Key to Your Cloud Ebook or Library
Important: If you are hosting your cloud ebook on your own website, you must enable HTTPS on your web server.
In Kotobee Author, open your library or cloud ebook and click on Settings > Payments.
Click on the Payment methods tab.
Click the Enable button under the Moyasar box, paste the copied keyds in the respective fields and click Save changes.
Once these steps are completed, your Moyasar account will be linked to your Kotobee library, enabling seamless payment collection for your content.
