Create Interactive Widgets with AI
One of the most anticipated additions to Kotobee Author is the ability to generate fully functional widgets using AI. You can simply describe the widget you want in a prompt, and the AI tool will generate it for you, making it easier than ever to extend your ebooks with custom interactive experiences.
Partial Scoring for Multi-Part Questions
Interactive questions with multiple parts (such as drag-and-drop or fill-in-the-blanks) now support partial credit. Instead of receiving a zero if any part of the answer is incorrect, readers will earn points proportionally for each correct choice they make (e.g., scoring 3/5 for getting three out of five items correct).
Customize AI Voices with Regional Accents
AI-generated speech is now even more customizable. In addition to choosing a specific voice, you can now select from a variety of regional accents (including American, British, and other global options). This allows you to create narration that precisely matches your content and audience.
Widget Preview in Kotobee Author
Before inserting a widget into your ebook, you can now preview it directly within Kotobee Author. This makes it easier to verify that everything looks and functions exactly as intended before adding it to your page.
New Ebook Templates
Several new ebook templates have been added to Kotobee Author, expanding your selection of professionally designed layouts for interactive ebooks.
iOS 26 SDK Support
Kotobee's iOS SDK has been updated to comply with Apple's latest submission requirements. You can now build your ebook apps using Xcode 26 and the iOS 26 SDK, ensuring seamless deployment and continued compatibility with the App Store.
Kotobee Library & Cloud
New Payment Gateway: eFinance
Libraries and cloud ebooks now support eFinance, one of Egypt's leading payment gateways. This gives publishers selling to Egyptian audiences another secure and convenient payment option.
Redesigned Cloud & Library Settings
The configuration interface for Kotobee Cloud and Kotobee Library has been reorganized with a cleaner layout and more intuitive navigation. The new interface allows you to quickly locate and configure your platform settings.
Kotobee Reader
Sleep Timer for Audiobooks
Readers can now set a countdown timer from the audiobook settings to automatically stop playback after a selected amount of time. It's perfect for bedtime listening or long listening sessions.
Dynamic Selection Toolbar
The text selection toolbar now appears directly above selected text instead of at a fixed position on the screen, making it faster and more intuitive to access text tools while reading.
How to Get the Update
To access these new features, download the latest version of Kotobee Author. If you're using Kotobee Cloud or Kotobee Library, your platform has already been updated automatically.
