Learn how to remove a chapter from the table of contents, and keep it in the normal navigation of the ebook (Next and Previous buttons).
For fixed layouts, this step is important.
In EPUB each page is called a "Chapter" and will appear in the table of the contents. To have just the start of the chapter listed, keep the first page of each chapter in the table of contents, and remove the rest of the pages using these steps.

How to Remove a Chapter from the Table of Contents
- Click on Chapter properties at the bottom of the screen, below the editor. The Chapter Properties window will appear.
- Uncheck the Include in TOC box.
- Press OK.
Chapters that are not included in the table of contents will appear dimmed in the chapters menu, left of the edit screen.
