Learn how to create a new audiobook project in Kotobee Narrator, import your audio files, and organize your chapters before saving your work.

When you open Kotobee Narrator, a new project starts automatically. You can begin entering your audiobook details and uploading your audio files right away.

Steps for Creating a New Audiobook

1. Enter Book Information

Start by adding your book information on the left side of the dashboard. This includes the title, author, publisher, description, language, ISBN, rights, and book cover image.
This information will appear to users before they open your audiobook.

2. Import or Add Audio Files

There are two ways to add your audio tracks:

Option 1: Import all audio files at once
Click Import from the top menu to bulk-import your MP3 files. Kotobee Narrator will automatically create a chapter for each file. You can then edit each chapter’s title and description as needed.

Option 2: Add chapters manually
You can also add chapters one by one using the + New chapter button in the middle section. For each chapter, enter the title and description, then click Browse audio file to upload the corresponding MP3 track.

After adding an audio file, you can preview it directly from the chapter’s panel on the right. This helps you confirm that you’ve selected the correct file and check the audio quality before saving your project.

3. Edit and Organize Chapters

Once all chapters are added, you can:

  • Edit titles or descriptions for any chapter as needed.

  • Reorder chapters using the drag handle on the right.

  • Delete unwanted chapters using the trash icon at the bottom.

As you add or edit chapters, Kotobee Narrator automatically displays the total audiobook duration in the Book Information panel. This helps you track your audiobook’s overall length as you build it.

4. Save Your Audiobook

When you’re done, click Save to save your project, or Save As to save it in a different name, in a new location, or in a different file format.

Your saved audiobook file can be reopened in Kotobee Narrator for editing or opened in Kotobee Reader to view and listen to the final audiobook.
