Britain expects to use a vaccine against COVID-19 By early next year

United Kingdom Health Minister Matt Hancock predicted that Britain is likely to have a vaccine against COVID-19. By early next year The British government has begun to order the first batch of 30 million doses, the vaccine was developed by AstraZeneca in collaboration with the University of Oxford.

 

Mr Hancock revealed yesterday. AstraZeneca has begun production of the COVID vaccine ordered by the British government. And if approved for use England was ready to apply to the public. Mr Hancock made this comment after a few days. AstraZeneca revealed that The company has started trials of the COVID-19 vaccine. Clinical in Japan already The company plans to begin shipping the vaccine to Japan in the first quarter of 2021.

 

The AZD1222 vaccine trial is currently being developed by the University of Oxford. It will be performed in multiple locations. And aims to have approximately 250 participants aged 18 and over.

 

In the past August AstraZeneca has agreed with the Japanese government to supply 120 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, 30 million doses of the vaccine will be available between January and March next year.

Besides Japan AstraZeneca has also conducted final clinical trials in the UK, Brazil, South Africa and the United States.
